Hi everyone !
As you might already know I’ve decided to go back home, to Real Celta de Vigo, where everything started. There is where I began as a player and where I’d like to keep on growing with humility and work helping the club return to where it belongs. It won’t be easy at all and we’ll need the support of all the fans but I’m certain that the time has come to make important things.
I have plenty of enthusiasm to confront the challenge, I can’t be happier.
I leave FC Barcelona behind, my second house. It hasn’t been easy to take this decision and to leave the best club in the world, but I felt the time had come to change the atmosphere and to prove all the football I have inside. I had two more years of contract but in the end life is for them who risk, right?
I’ve lived good moments and also regular ones, but I’ve learnt so much that I’m very grateful. Playing with the best and next to the best in the WORLD has been a lecture and a privilege. THANK YOU !
Also, thanks to all my coaches, to the president and all the staff, the ones who make Can Barca a perfect machine. From the first one to the last, you are all cracks.
I don’t want to forget about Zubizarreta although he isn’t in the club any more. He was the one who believed in me, eternal thanks to you, Zubi.
I also want to thank all the fans and you know you are the first ones. What can I say to you if I’m also a fan as I’ve felt like you all these years in La Masía and then at the Camp Nou, Forca Barça Sempre !
Now is time to dream with the light blue shirt and achieve my childhood dreams. I know that Balaídos will be with me and the fans; my parents, sister and all my Galician family; my girlfriend and her unconditional support; my agents and all the people that have believed in my professionalism…
Nothing can go wrong, let’s go for it !
